From the team which brought you Boogie Nights and West Side Story, comes the electrifying stage version of 80s teen movie classic, Footloose.
In the small American town of Bomont, all dancing is banned. When charismatic city-boy, Ren, arrives from Chicago, he’s determined to organise a High School prom, even if it means battling the puritanical local preacher. Ultimately dancing may be the one thing to hold the town together.
This feel-good musical includes spectacular dancing, and a memorable rock and pop soundtrack, including ‘Holding Out For A Hero’, ‘Let’s Hear It for The Boy’ and the title track, ‘Footloose’.
An audio-described and integrated signing version will be performed on Thursday 18 November, 7:30pm at the King’s Theatre, Glasgow.
