SignPost is looking for a BSL On-screen Presenter

Job share, part-time position. Based at ITV’s Television Centre in Gateshead.

ITV SignPost is looking for a versatile self starter, who can work to tight deadlines delivering high quality BSL translations from English for a variety of media content, including broadcast TV programmes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in BSL qualification; a good understanding of written English with a recognised English language qualification; a good practical knowledge of BSL linguistics; be able to work accurately under tight deadlines; fit easily into our team of D/deaf and hearing professionals; have a broad general knowledge and be keen to contribute good ideas in an entrepreneurial environment.
