The School of Signs has launched its second lesson and set of resources from series two, including a new episode of ‘CodeBreakers’. Here is what you can look forward to!
With the second series of The School of Signs now well underway following the launch of the first lesson and CodeBreakers episode last week, the next set of resources have now been released.
This week, the theme of the learning is ‘Being Around People Who Work’, in which students will learn how to use British Sign Language in conversation regarding jobs and employment.
This will allow them to confidently sign about the world of work and understand more about using BSL in new situations.
As always, the lesson and resources are accompanied by a brand-new CodeBreakers episode, interwoven with interactive BSL activities that enhance the learning by linking back to the topic and vocabulary.
Evie is sent into the field by Hawthorne on this occasion, as C.L.A.S.S. once again must foil the plans of Victor Green. His dastardly plan this time has seen him wipe educational files on firefighting and fire safety. With Max back at base, Evie heads to South Shields Fire Station, where she is tasked to understand the role of being a firefighter in order to retrieve the missing files.
Students will have to help Evie by working out the passwords to upload the photographic evidence, before fingerspelling the words to submit them to Max. Will it be enough to stop Victor Green again?

Next week’s release will introduce the theme of ‘Being Around Everyday Life’, with Max and Evie tasked with another daring operation!
