Signature is proud to be partnering with Purple Mash, within 2Simple on The School of Signs project, bringing together their extensive experience in educational software and their work with over 7,000 primary schools to this exciting programme of study. 2Simple’s commitment to breaking down educational barriers for all children and transforming how teaching and learning is experienced aligns perfectly with Signature’s aim to make the BSL programme of study one that is exciting and long-standing.
This partnership supports Signature’s long-standing goal to make BSL more accessible and more widely used in society. By combining our experience of over 42 years in BSL education with their technological capabilities and reach, we can create a pathway where schools can embrace the new programme of study. Together, we can equip teachers with all the relevant tools to ensure that lessons are informative yet engaging.
The School of Signs project offers an opportunity bring BSL to life in our classrooms, to inform students about the deaf community and ultimately make those individuals who use sign language, included, and heard.
Lindsay Foster, Executive Director of Signature commented, “We are delighted to be working with Purple Mash within 2Simple to bring The School of Signs resources onto their platform, which is positioned in over 7,000 schools across the UK.
The collaboration will ensure that all of our resources are easily accessible with all the relevant tools in one place, making the learning process both straightforward and engaging.
It has been great to collaborate with 2Simple, bringing their reach to this project will enable BSL to be embedded into education from the early years. Their involvement plays a key part in guaranteeing that the project is successful.
