The National Sensory Impairment Partnership – update

Signature chief executive, Jim Edwards will attend the BSL Coalition meeting in London today, 13 March 2014.

We told you recently about a Language audit/survey of the provision of services to deaf children and young people who use BSL and other sign language systems. In today’s meeting members will discuss the results of the survey, the end of year report and will plan for year 2 of workstream 6a of the NatSIP project.

There will also be an update from Jill Jones from DEXperience on the objective – Advising on teaching and learning strategies to support the curriculum reforms – the issues for BSL users.
