The Association of British Sign Language Teachers and Assessors (ABSLTA) will be holding their annual AGM meeting this year on Saturday 25 April, at the Manchester Deaf Centre.
The event will begin at 11am, with doors open from 10:30 onwards, and will finish at around 4pm. The cost for attending the event is £5 for members and £25 for non-members, which includes food, wine and hot/cold beverages.
The cost for attending the event will also give you access to two training workshops. The training will be ran by the Deaf British television presenter and management training consultant Tessa Padden, who will be discussing teaching methods and Frances Elton, the Co-ordinator of Sign Language and Deaf Studies at UCL, who will be discussing BSL Linguistics.
