You may be aware that changes to text relay services are planned from 18 April 2014. Ofcom, the UK communications regulator, want to find out about the experiences of text relay users both now and after the changes are made in April, so that they can establish whether the changes lead to a better quality service.
They have commissioned an independent research agency, Facts International, to carry out some research assessing users’ experience of text relay services.
They would like to hear from anyone who:
- is 16 or over
- uses text relay at least once a month, and
- is willing to complete a short survey (either online or face to face with an interviewer) and diary task.
There will be a £15 thank you payment upon completion of the diary.
If you would like to take part in the research, please register your interest on the Facts International website as soon as possible.
If you have any questions about this letter or the research please email textrelay@facts.uk.com
