Survey for students learning BSL Level 3, 4 and 6

Are you currently learning British Sign Language, or have you recently finished learning at Level 3, Level 4 or Level 6?  If so you may be able to take part in a survey by the University of Manchester, in partnership with NHS England, for a project which aims to improve interpreting services within primary care.

They are specifically looking for students who undertook paid interpreting work in Primary Care settings (i.e. at a doctors, a dentists, an opticians, etc.) whilst they were still learning their course.

Their aims is to find out the views of interpreting service providers on how they could improve interpreting services for Deaf people who use Primary Care services.  They would like to know your views on the subject.  The survey will be completely anonymous and should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

More information about the project, along with a consent form and the survey itself, can be found here: https://apps.mhs.manchester.ac.uk/surveys//TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=p2MIl881
