Signature are delighted to share the news that we have been shortlisted for the Awarding Organisation of The Year for Delivering Real Impact on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the Federation of Awarding bodies awards.
The prestigious FAB Awards, now in its 7th year, recognise the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year.
This award recognises an Awarding Organisation that has demonstrated exemplary insight and clarity of purpose in the area of equity, diversity and inclusion.
The judging panel will be looking for evidence of how the Awarding Organisation has demonstrated appreciation of diversity within their own organisation, through inclusive recruitment and development practices, the sector, and produced inclusive and diverse materials.
Lindsay Foster, Executive Director at Signature said: “We are really pleased to have been shortlisted for this award, it’s a testament to the hard-work our team put in everyday to delivering qualifications that really makes a difference.
But this goes beyond just our team here in the office, it’s for our board who support us and challenge us to be the best we can be, and it’s our centres and teachers who continue to deliver the best qualifications on the market which are really making a difference.
Everything we do as an awarding organisation is to make an impact, we work tirelessly to improve communication and inclusion for all, whether that be supporting the BSL bill or working with Department for Education on a GCSE. We will continue to put everything we have into making a more inclusive society.
