Signature is in the process of designing a new Level 3 qualification that would enable communication support professionals working with deaf children and young people at Key Stages 3 and 4 to gain a nationally recognised qualification. This is aimed at those wishing to work in schools, the voluntary sector, in the community, and in private and public organisations.
The programme builds on Signature’s Level 3 Certificate in Communication Support for Deaf Learners in post-16 settings and would result in high quality training for staff and specialist provision for deaf children and young people in the 11-16 age range.
We are interested in your views in the development of the new qualification. A survey has been created to give you the opportunity to contribute your ideas for the role and we would really appreciate you taking the time to complete it. The deadline for completion of the survey is noon on 8 August.

This development is part of the government-funded I-Sign 2 project, managed by the National Deaf Children’s Society.
