The Department for Work and Pensions have launched a consultation on individual’s experiences of Work Capability Assessments (WCA).
They are seeking feedback and evidence about the effectiveness of the WCA and where further improvement is needed.
The consultation, which is available in British Sign Language, will form the basis of the department’s ongoing efforts to improve their service and make it as accessible as possible.
The deadline for submissions is 27 August. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to improve the accessibility of the WCA process for deaf people.
