Northern Ireland Frontline Staff Introduced to Get Deaf Aware
Added 10 Apr 2013
On 11 April in Belfast, we are holding a taster session of our Deaf Awareness course aimed at organisations who employ frontline and customer facing staff.
Employees from Belfast City Airport, Newtownabbey Borough Council, Northern Ireland Fire Service and many other organisations have been invited to take part.
The Get Deaf Aware course is designed to help staff to have greater confidence when meeting deaf people and improve the service they offer, making them as welcoming for deaf people as they are for others.
The course is self delivered and everything you need is available to download, with a full training guide, exercises, tests and additional resources including a dictionary and videos. It can be delivered in less than 3 hours and is available to purchase via the Get Deaf Aware website. Purchasing is simple and you can choose to pay by credit card or invoice.
