We are very pleased to announce that the Signature Level 3 Award in Modifying Written English Texts for Deaf People (QCF Accreditation Number: 501/0106/7) has been accredited by Ofqual. It is available for teaching from 1 September 2010.

Are there any changes?
Very little has changed from the qualification you are used to teaching. The qualification now has the following units; T303 and K318.
T303 remains the same. K318 replaces the previous L304 – it has been adapted as it is also part of a new qualification; the Level 3 Certificate in Learning Support (Communication Support Worker).
If a learner has achieved L304 prior to 1 September 2010, it will count towards the full MET3 qualification. As the unit will have been achieved under the old NQF framework, it will not receive credit points. As K318 is accredited on the QCF, it will receive credit points.
Those learners who have achieved L304 and wish to undertake the Level 3 Certificate in Learning Support (Communication Support Worker) will be exempt from K318.
