NRCPD is developing a suite of National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Speech to Text Reporters. The NOS describe the skills and knowledge an individual needs in order to carry out the role in a consistent and competent way. It will help define a progression route for those wanting to train and qualify as Speech to Text Reporters and raise the profile of the Speech to Text Reporting profession. NRCPD are now consulting on the content of the Standards and encourage those of you who work as or with STTRs to share your views.
The consultation will close on Friday 16 December 2011.
