Liberty Festival at National Gallery

The Liberty Festival is an annual event at Trafalgar Square, celebrating the contribution of Deaf and disabled people to London’s culture.

Join us for BSL talks (with voiceover) which focus on two Artists; Sir Joshua Reynold’s who went deaf in his later life and Monet who experienced troubles with his eyesight due to cataracts in his old age.

Join Serena Cant for a talk that focuses on the life and work of Sir Joshua Reynolds through the prism of an examination of his deafness.

Join Jennifer Little for a talk on Claude-Oscar Monet’s Irises.
