SignHealth is working with deaf organisations from all over the UK on a really important piece of research looking into the health of deaf people. They want to know whether deaf people are less healthy than the hearing population and what deaf people think of health services. Once they have gathered proper, scientific research they can start to campaign for improvements.
The first stage of the Deaf Health Research Project is well under way, with around 900 people completing a survey. In order to provide really strong evidence they would like to hear from a lot more people.
