Co.Deaf will be running a free deaf event at County Hall Durham on the 8 May for Deaf Awareness Week. There will be talks on:

How to stay safe from bogus callers - Sign Translate – 11am
How to access a remote interpreter at your doctors - Deaf Awareness – 2pm
Deaf awareness for family friends and work collegues - Link – 3pm
How to influence and improve the NHS services in your area
There will be equipment and information stalls available throughout the day with interpreters and lipspeakers available.
