A one day research dissemination event aimed at teachers of deaf children will be taking place on 11 June 2015 in the Social Science building at City University London.
The event will look into the current DCAL research into the education of deaf children, and will feature speech-reading, language and cognitive underpinnings of deaf children's learning. World-leading researchers, teachers and policy makers will also discuss the future of education for deaf children.
