We have improved the way we process assessments for the Level 3 Certificate in Communication for Deaf Learners.
We recently told you that we have renamed our level 3 qualification for communication support workers. The new accredited title is Level 3 Certificate in Communication Support for Deaf Learners. The assessment regulations for the qualification are available on our website.
We have improved the way we process assessments for this qualification. We have simplified the process so that assessments are sent direct to Signature for external moderation. This will reduce paperwork and costs associated with the previous process.
You should note:
- the new process is for units K311, K312, K313, K314, K315 and K117
- Unit K318 is a written paper and has a different assessment process. The assessment regulations for this unit are available on our website.
- Teacher resources for each unit are available and can be downloaded from the centre portal on the Signature website.
- We have revised the frequently asked questions (FAQs) to support the qualification. You can view these on the Qualifications FAQs section of our website.
Candidates registered after 1 September 2012 will follow the new regulations.
These changes will not affect candidates registered on the previous Level 3 Communication Support Worker qualification. Those candidates will continue on as planned.
If you have any queries about the new process, please contact your Customer Support Officer.
