Signature would like to extend our congratulations to Liberal Democrat MP Malcolm Bruce who received a Knighthood in the Queens’s birthday honours list for public and political services.
In addition to his duties as an MP; inspired by his daughter Caroline, who was born profoundly deaf, Mr Bruce also is an active charitable campaigner and holds roles with a number of leading deaf charities.
Sir Malcolm said “I’d like to think the knighthood is not just for political longevity but for the work with deaf charities. I got into that because of my daughter and hopefully it’s of benefit to them.”
Jim Edwards, CEO of Signature commented “I’m so pleased that Malcolm Bruce’s outstanding contribution to improving the lives of not only his constituents but those of the deaf communities throughout the UK have been recognised.”
