Centre Approval Process

We have improved our centre approval process in response to Ofqual’s Conditions of Recognition. Further information on the process can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

On 16 May 2011, Ofqual, the regulator of qualifications, published the general conditions of recognition. The conditions state what awarding organisations must achieve in order to award regulated qualifications.

All awarding organisations need to comply with these conditions by the 18 May 2012.

In response to the conditions, we have improved our centre approval process. In order to gain approval we will need centres to provide us with additional information on staff and meet the requirements detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
