BSL Interpreter Wanted For Expedition to Borneo

The Journey of a Lifetime Trust – JoLt – is looking for two leaders, one of which is proficient in British Sign Language, to join a month-long expedition for 24 disadvantaged and disabled young people leaving on 10 July 2010 and travelling through Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak.

JoLt is a small charity run on a totally voluntary basis by a group of ordinary people with families and careers. It was set up in 1983 to make a positive lasting difference to the lives of disabled, ill, neglected and abused young people. Over the years they have organised trips to Canada, Beijing, Venezuela, Vietnam India and South Africa.

The latest expedition is set for July 2010 and will be to the incredible island of Borneo. The trip will last four weeks and will take in many of the national parks and wildlife reserves.

As part of their preparations JoLt are looking for a leader who is proficient in British Sign Language.
