The Ear Foundation’s conference, Adult Hearing Loss – time for a new approach, took place in Westminster this week and gathered together leaders in the fields of audiology, industry and the Third Sector. They joined a number of MPs in a common goal to raise awareness of the impact of hearing loss and to promote the campaign for an adult hearing screening programme. They also explored the innovative technology available.
With support from Stephen Lloyd MP and Lilian Greenwood MP, the Ear Foundation followed the conference with the launch of their report, Adult Cochlear Implantation: evidence and experience, pushing for greater access to cochlear implantation for adults.
