Each year the Union holds a conference for members of the Union who define themselves as disabled. This event enables teachers to share experiences, learn from each other and debate Union policy about campaigns to achieve disability equality in the profession.

You can meet the volunteer Link Officers, visit the County Control Room and experience the Emergency Text Messaging Service in practice.
The Science Museum has an exciting new programme of Family Events called SIGNtific. This is a range of shows, workshops and storytelling led by Deaf presenters who are using BSL with voice over interpreters.

The V&A Museum is holding BSL interpreted events from April – June 2010. Entry to the Museum is free and people with disabilities are entitled to free admission to V&A exhibitions with up to two friends.
