Qualifications Portfolio
We offer qualifications in signed languages and other methods of communication with deaf and deafblind people. Our nationally accredited qualifications are unit based, offering many advantages.
Units only need to be studied once, learners can take a break between units if required which means learners can study at a pace that suits them - however, where a practical skill forms part of the qualification (e.g. Deafblind Manual or Lipspeaking Skills), it would be reasonable to expect the candidate to have maintained the required level of skill at the point of completion and so time limits for some qualifications may be set.
All units, as well as full qualifications, are accredited so learners who are unable to achieve a full qualification can get a certificate for each unit they have studied. You can see the qualifications that we offer by clicking below.
