The winner of this year's prestigious award has been announced as local man, John Connolly, caretaker at St. Brigid's National School, Convoy.

Congratulations to Owen Wright for becoming the Signature NE region learner of the year!

Owen is a learner with Middlebrough Adult Education Service and has completed a Level 1 and Level 2 course in British Sign Language, the language of Britain's Deaf community.
